Our Editorial Purpose
Our guides and planning tools are designed to make insurance terminology and tradeoffs easier to understand. We aim to help readers organize their questions and compare choices—not tell an individual which policy to buy or predict a specific price, approval, benefit, or claim result.
How We Research Insurance Topics
We prefer primary and authoritative sources when they are available, including state insurance departments, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Medicare and other government resources, current plan or policy documents, and official regulatory materials. An external link supports the point being discussed; it does not mean the source endorses Better Coverage Now.
Insurance requirements, definitions, availability, underwriting, pricing, and claim procedures can differ by state, insurer, policy form, and individual circumstances. We identify those limitations rather than presenting one state’s rule as universal.
Authorship, Review, and Production Tools
Content is published by Better Coverage Now unless a page identifies a specific author or reviewer. We do not claim review by a licensed insurance professional unless that review actually occurred and the reviewer is identified accurately.
Research, drafting, formatting, and quality-control tools may assist the production process. Before publication, material is evaluated for clarity, source alignment, internal consistency, and appropriate limitations. Tool-assisted content is not a substitute for current policy language or advice from an appropriately licensed professional.
Updates and Review Dates
A “reviewed” or “updated” date should reflect a meaningful content or accuracy check—not an automatic date change. Because insurance rules and plan details can change, readers should confirm time-sensitive information with the insurer, regulator, official program, or current plan documents.
Calculators and Planning Worksheets
Our calculators and worksheets use information entered by the visitor to organize a planning scenario. They do not access insurer rating systems, produce carrier quotes, determine eligibility, recommend coverage, or predict claims. Results should be verified before they are used in a financial or insurance decision.
Advertising and Quote Requests
Better Coverage Now is advertising-supported. Compensation may affect which partners or offers appear and their placement. A quote request may be shared with third-party insurance providers, agencies, brokers, or quote-request partners as described at the point of submission. Compensation does not guarantee contact, price, savings, approval, coverage, or a claim outcome.
Corrections
If you believe a page contains an inaccurate statement, outdated source, unclear disclosure, or broken link, email websitelandlorddfw@gmail.com and include the page address and the issue. We review specific correction requests and update material when a correction or clarification is warranted.
